When Intercups from Mexico this summer comes back to participate with two boys-teams in Cup No 1, it will be with lots of ambitions! The Mexicans aim to bring at least one trophy back home – just like in 2014, when Intercups won the B12 and ended as runner-up in B14. Several players from these teams now play for professional clubs.
Intercups was established as an organization only five years ago with an idea of bringing young talented players to a national and international level. Intercups runs an academy in Mexico and besides that take teams for international youth tournaments all over the world and have won 20 championships in five years.
The director of Intercups Emilio Herrera participated as a player himself in the Cup No. 1 back in 1990, and the experience at that time marked him for life, and he returned to participate in 2013 with INTERCUPS MX
“Thanks for all the help the people around Cup No 1 has given us! We have meet Danish, American, Brazilian, German, Norwegian and African teams, and our young people have enjoyed sport and friendships, that are kept alive until today.
